Art Therapy (in-person)
Service Description
Many people hear “art therapy” and assume it’s only for kids or artists. The truth is: it can support anyone. Art therapy is psychotherapy that uses art-making—not just words—as a main way to communicate. If you’ve ever told yourself you’re “not creative,” you’re not alone; our culture often teaches us to stop creating unless we’re “good” at it. In sessions, the focus isn’t on talent or a perfect product—it’s on using the process of making art to slow down, make space for what you’re feeling, and discover new perspectives. Like talk therapy, it can build self-awareness, strengthen coping skills, and help you process stress or trauma.

Cancellation Policy
When you must cancel, please give me at least 24 hours notice. I am rarely able to fill a cancelled session unless I know at least 24 hours in advance. If you are unable to provide at least 24 hours notice when you cancel, you will be charged the full fee for your session unless I am able to fill it with another client. The only time I will waive this fee is in the event of serious or contagious illness or emergency.”
